What We're Listening To: Haim's "Hallelujah"

This post is inspired by our Water Drop Charm, representing the 6th Global Goal: Clean Water And Sanitation! Wash away those fears and get ready for a new year.

I had a best friend but she has come to pass
One I wish I could see now
You always remind me that memories will last
These arms reach out
You were there to protect me like a shield
Long hair running with me through the field
Everywhere, you’ve been with me all along
Why me? How’d I get this hallelujah?
Hallelujah, hallelujah

Change isn't easy. While watching the leaves fall down from the park across the street, I can't stop thinking about how quickly we're falling into another winter season, and how in just a month and a bit, we'll be entering a new decade. Ten years is a long time, and it really makes you think: what's next?

"Hallelujah", the new song from the rock group Haim, is a song about love, loss, family, and being thankful for it all. There are times when life's tribulations seem frustrating and unfair, and makes us wonder what the point of it all is. But it's so crucial these days to hold on tightly to the important things in our lives. And what if you're feeling like you lack good things in your life? Get out there are start searching. A new decade is coming, and we're all excited for the positive changes that are coming right around the corner.
