What To Watch: Period. End Of Sentence

This week's blog post is inspired by the 5th Global Goals charm: Equality Heart. Fight for your rights and for gender equality worldwide.

Did you catch the Oscars on Sunday? Lots of great films were awarded, but one that stands out is the winner of Best Documentary Short: Period. End Of Sentence.

Filmed in India, Period. End Of Sentence follows a group of East Indian women from a rural village who want to end stigma surrounding menstruation. The women learn about and are given modern pads, and even learn how to make them themselves. It's an eye-opening and inspiring look into the world outside of ours, and how to many women worldwide deserve proper education and treatment on healthcare.

The documentary is only 25 minutes long, and is available on Netflix! Watch it now and learn more at thepadproject.org
