Tune Time: Your New Fall Music Playlist

This week's blog post is inspired by the Energy Medallion, the charm for the 7th Global Goal: Affordable and Clean Energy. Wear it to find the energy you need to get off your seat and dance!

Did I mention before that I love fall? I love fall. Or autumn. Whatever it's called, it's great. Fun fact from a music nerd: the cutoff date for musicians to submit their music for a possible Grammy nomination is every November, so around this time, expect lots of artists to drop all sorts of incredible bops.

This time of year always puts me in a sort of serene mindset, and I prefer the slower, acoustic sounds as opposed to dance-y club bangers. For this playlist, I'll divide it in half with some cozy autumnal tunes, and some dance tracks to play at your next Halloween party!

Chill Mix

Rostam: In A River

"And I am holding on to you, boy, In the faint light of the stars"

Diana Gordon: Once A Friend

"And I know it don't make it right, I still wanna wish you good, When I'm sayin' my prayers tonight, I think I'm gonna add you."

Cat Power: Woman (feat. Lana Del Rey)

"I'm a woman of my word, now haven't you heard, My word's the only thing I've ever needed."

Shannen Moser: Haircut Song

"A broken heart will convince itself of many things."

Lady Gaga: Is That Alright? (from A Star Is Born)

"Life is so simple, a little boy, a little girl. Laughing and loving, trying to figure out the world."

Dance Mix

Robyn: Honey

"Every colour and every taste, every breath that whispers you name, it's like emeralds on the pavement."

Miya Folick: Stop Talking

"Stop talking about that boy!"

Charli XCX and Troye Sivan: 1999

"I just wanna go back, back to 1999, Take a ride in my old neighbourhood."

No Rome: Narcissist (feat. The 1975)

"Maybe it was never okay."

Kim Petras: In The Next Life

"First time in my life, I'm not afraid."

Got any song suggestions you'd like to make? Let us know! Happy listening!
